An extremely high-gloss finish that coats your printed materials. The coating is added on top of the ink to provide a high-quality sheen and offer water-resistance to the ink and paper below.
UV-Curable Coating Option
Provides an extremely high gloss coating that provides a moisture, curl and fade resistant finish. Available on one or both sides of all our products.
We use the CoCureTM process from Grafix:
Hy-BryteTM inks from SunChemical combined with Craig UV-curable coating produces the extremely high gloss non-yellowing finish which has become the standard by which all other coatings are judged. (A much higher gloss and more rub resistant finish than the aqueous coatings provided by many printers.) More sheen and rub resistance than ever helps prevent your materials from looking dull, faded or marred. This is especially noticeable in high coverage ink areas like solids.
We do not currently offer spot coating. We use a blanket coating process which covers and entire side of the card at once. Reverse-fold scorecards and the scoring sides of other scorecards do not receive the high gloss finish as it is difficult to write on with anything other than permanent markers. For materials that need to be ink-jet addressed or written on with ink or pencil, we suggest our matte finish paper or C1S paper (coated on one side, matte on the other).
